Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, 34-year-old Cassie Taylor embraced the arts at an early age. Preforming in many plays and concerts. She made her directorial debut as a senior in high school. By her early teens she was touring the world as a key part of her father’s blues/rock band playing bass and singing backup.
After high school she completed many theater, music and art classes in both Chicago and Denver, but ultimately left school for musical opportunities. She toured Europe and the U.S. with the ‘Girls With Guitars’ blues band sponsored by the German record label Ruf Records before forming her own touring band. Her music performances and recordings earned an international fan base, positive reviews, magazine spreads, and even a brief in The New Yorker magazine and Billboard.com.
After meeting her husband, she settled in the Kansas City area to start a family. Her current creative pursuits include production, photography and videography. Cassie enjoys the open and collaborative spirit of Kansas City . Her goal is to support the growing creative community with her visual storytelling.
